BIO

I am a Toronto-based screenwriter and alum of the Canadian Film Centre’s Bell Media Prime Time TV Writing Program (2022). Prior to pursuing this intensive program, I wrote, directed and produced the short film Pippa Eats (Toronto Indie Film Festival, Canada Shorts) and produced Season 1 of the award-winning digital series Running with Violet. With a focus on comedy, I also wrote on Seasons 2 and 3 of the CBC digital series True Dating Stories (nominated Best Comedy Writing at The Indie Series Awards), worked as a writers’ assistant for the Amazon Reboot of The Kids in the Hall while performing stand up comedy in Toronto.

I have worked in multiple TV development rooms with Shaftesbury Films, in a Netflix TV writing room, and on set for an Amazon TV series. Currently, I have a television series created with Karen McClellan in development at Peacock Alley Entertainment.

With a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Toronto (Trinity College), where I graduated with Distinction, I am passionate about classic and contemporary literature, where much of my writing derives its inspiration. I continue to be and forever hope to remain a reader - as well as an engaged audience member of film, television and theatre.

I am represented by Sohrab Merchant at The Characters Talent Agency, but you can also message me on this website's contact page.
